Shipmate Summer, Hannah Bernardi

This summer, Hannah stayed busy with classes, work, and travels. Hannah is completing an accelerated masters program upon graduation, so she started earning credits early by taking a higher-level elective class which will double-count to her masters degree. She also worked a part-time serving job to save money for the upcoming school year. 

Ending the summer well, Hannah traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand with the Engineering Global Leadership Honors Program, where she completed volunteer work at an elephant sanctuary. She also spent some time in Bangkok before heading home eager to enter her senior year!
